Gin's Last Wish
"Rangiku, there you are." Toshiro Hitsuguya looked up pointedly as the door slid open and his lieutenant made her way inside, covered in mud and dripping wet. "Where have you been all day? Your works been piling up, leaving me to pick up the slack."
Rangiku paused in the doorway, her distant gaze directed toward the polished mahogany floor. A several strands of orange-colored hairclumped together with dried mud fell in front of her face, which was hidden halfway in shadow. The corners of her lips trembled as she started to speak. "I'm sorry, Captain," her voice was hardly more than a whisper and rough with misuse. "I pr
